PADI Open Water Referral Program

The Referral Program is ideal for divers who want to start their diving education at home, and complete your Open Water Certification Dives on our Vacation. 

The program works by you completing the academics and confined water portions of the class with us at Got Air Scuba, and finishing your dives at a PADI Dive Center located at your next destination.

Once you complete your classroom and pool training, Got Air Scuba will complete your PADI Log Book's Referral Section.  You'll use that at the PADI dive center in the area where you are traveling. 

The receiving dive center collects a fee for the open water dives. In most resort areas, the fee for completing the open water dives is about $150 to $200 and usually includes basic equipment rental. Once you have completed your four open water dives, you are a certified diver! If you have any difficulties with the process,  

And of course, we will be there for all your equipment and service needs once you are certified!

Regular Price is $400

To take this course, you MUST:

• Be able to swim 200 yards without stopping (no time limit)
  
• Be able to tread water for 10 minutes
  
• Be in good overall heath.  If you answer YES to any of the questions on the attached medical form, a doctors release must be obtained PRIOR to beginning your Open Water Adventure

Please note:  If you are under the age of 18, you must have parental consent.  Children as young as 12 may learn to dive and earn certification at Got Air Scuba.  Students younger than 15 years, who successfully complete the course qualify for the PADI Junior Open Water Diver Certification, which they may upgrade to PADI Open Water Diver Certification upon reaching age 15.

• There is a $50 rescheduling fee for ANY changes made to schedule.
  
• There is a $100 rescheduling fee for ANY changes made to schedule within one week of your course date.
  
• There is no refund or opportunity to reschedule if canceling within 72 hours before your course date.
  
• There is no refund or opportunity to reschedule if you do not show up on your scheduled course date.
