Staying safe underwater is easy.  We'll teach you the skills necessary to acquire your PADI OPEN WATER CERTIFICATION.
​By utilizing the PADI materials, you prepare for review and testing sessions with your instructor. (Saturday & Sunday)

Pool
You'll learn how to set up, adjust your equipment, and how to handle it underwater.  We will provide you with top-of-the line SCUBAPRO Scuba Gear to use during your Confined Water Training. 

You only need to provide your own Scuba Mask, Snorkel, Booties, and Fins.

If you're planning to get certified at an alternate location, referrals are available at NO EXTRA CHARGE.

Open Water Certification Dives @ Haigh Quarry

You'll be executing some skill exercises and touring during the four Open Water Dives in the Quarry's Underwater Environment.  You'll see how easy and fun it is to fly over the landscape in a fluid sky. You'll be amazed at how much life there is to SEA.  Once you're certified, you and your dive buddy can explore the world together, without having to hire a divemaster to dive with you.

One weekend's Rental Gear for your Open Water Training is included with the Open Water Course.

• Student is responsible for the daily entry fee into Haigh Quarry. (Training Dives are done Saturday & Sunday)
• Student is responsible for additional air fills.

To take this course, you MUST:

• Be able to swim 200 yards without stopping (no time limit) 
• Be able to tread water for 10 minutes 
• Be in good overall heath.  If you answer YES to any of the questions on PADI's Medical Form, below. A doctors release must be obtained PRIOR to beginning your Open Water Adventure

Please note:  If you are under the age of 18, you must have parental consent.  Children as young as 10 may learn to dive and earn certification.  Students younger than 15 years, who successfully complete the course qualify for the PADI Junior Open Water Diver Certification, which they may upgrade to PADI Open Water Diver Certification upon reaching age 15.

• NO REFUNDS on classes or services.  This is a serious commitment.  
• There is a $50 rescheduling fee for ANY changes made to schedule.  
• There is a $100 rescheduling fee for ANY changes made to schedule within one week of your course date.  
• There is no refund or opportunity to reschedule if canceling within 72 hours before your course date.  
• There is no refund or opportunity to reschedule if you do not show up on your scheduled course date.  
• ​If you redeemed a certificate for your course and you do not show up on your scheduled course date, your certificate is considered VOID.  
• PADI eLearning fee does not cover pool and quarry costs
• Rental Equipment is provided for STUDENT only for use during the PADI Open Water Dive Course @ Haigh Quarry.
